LandscapeDE was hired by Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation, and Open Spaces to develop a new design for the Norman and Jean Reach Park Playground. The design included a new layout and new play equipment. It also included extensive new landscaping around the playground emphasizing native plant species and butterfly attracting species. The design also included a reorganization of the pathways around the playground to create a perimeter walkway and connect to various surrounding elements, including basketball courts, a community center, and parking. The new design has been very popular with the surrounding community and attracts numerous children and families daily.
