The City of North Miami completed its Downtown Development and Major Corridor Master Plan in May, 2013 to guide redevelopment and infrastructure improvements of the City’s Downtown along 125th Street and along the major corridors of West Dixie Highway, Biscayne Boulevard, NE 6th Avenue, NW 119th Street, and NW 7th Avenue. LandscapeDE, with the Corradino group, was hired to generate ideas for strategic development and civic improvement within the boundaries of the Downtown District (C-3). The work scope included conceptualizing designs for public and private redevelopment opportunities, designs for landscape/streetscape enhancements, park improvements, and architectural explorations.
